My most recent, and largest, project has been the design and development of the website you are using now. I wanted to create a fresh, unique portfolio website. Web-builders such as WordPress, Cargo.site, were fine, but I wanted to do it at a low cost and with my vision in mind. So I elected to code it myself in HTML, CSS, and Java, hosting it on a service called Neocities.
After Covid-19, the Digital Media Commons faced a significant challenge: none of the incoming students knew they existed. My role was to design, market, and execute a "back-to-school" event that would reintroduce the Digital Media Commons to students and highlight its many resources.
In April of 2024, I was contracted to design and code a website for Spectrum Theatre Productions. This began an invigorating process where I was the sole developer working with the leader of the theatre company to create a vision for his brand.
I was invited to design a piece of merchandise that would be sold to raise funds for WCBN-FM Ann Arbor, the student radio station at UMICH.
A fictional project to fill out my portfolio in the brand design scale. I designed the invitation and wedding website for an Italian wedding. I was inspired by the vintage gold feel Italy carries, and the ornate columns and decoration there. I wanted to express a feeling of classic luxury, yet modern class, in my design.
I've kept myself busy over the years. I love being able to be apart of community events, and flyer making is what I do best. This is an archive of some of my favorites over the years. Just for fun!
